Oh, the second child. The one you give dishwasher "sterilized" bottles to, immediately pop a pacifier into the mouth after delivery, allow to eat crackers off the floor, and pray they learn their ABC's from the older sibling. Time is a factor of course but so is the fact that you've relaxed a good deal and are just ready to enjoy the baby phase instead of rushing milestones. Maybe that's why I still see little dimples on her hands, chubby little feet and cheeks and think of her as still a baby.
She is bright, silly, and sure of herself. The maker of funny faces and the one who always keeps us laughing. She is also very stubborn and strong-willed which I think will serve her well later in life if we teach her how to properly channel that behavior. She is looking forward to being a big sister for the first time and will probably love the company of a little boy. She is very much like her daddy when he was a child -afraid to show anyone that they are having fun (they both try to hide smiles), more reserved when around people they don't know but at home, a complete ham.
She is our little stinker but also still our baby! We love you Ella Rose.
