Another potty update (hopefully the last)

Well, here we are. It has been 5 days now and Ella continues to do fantastic. 0 accidents!!!! Dry all night, dry all day!!!!!!! I can't believe it. It seems to good to be true. I will have had 22 days of freedom from diapers before Jack arrives and I get to start all over again. Hooray!!! She is still so proud of herself and feels the need to try out each and every public toilet we are near. She has so far seen the bathrooms in Target, Moe's, Pump It Up, Earth, Paint and Fire, Texas Roadhouse, church, Wal-mart and church again (8 times was reported on Sunday night). I'm not complaining. I love it. I'd take her twice as much if she needed to go. The sheer lack of embarrassment alone on Sunday morning is enough for me to relish each and every trip.

The countdown to Jack continues. We are now at 16 days. Unbelievable. It seems like yesterday we had just found out and now it is upon us. I have forgotten what to pack for the hospital. I remember last time the suitcase was jammed full of things. Of course, we thought we were having a "normal" delivery and brought more things pertaining to that course of events. I just can't remember what I will need. How long will I wear that awful hospital gown? Will I need more than one nightgown? Should I bring regular clothes other than to wear home? Should I pack things for Mark just in case? I know we live relatively close and he can always go home but I'd rather have all my ducks in a row for this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. (I'm pretty sure these are hormones talking, or maybe the fact that I'm at work and it's 3:39am.) After today, only one more Monday of no sleep to go!! Yay. I'm working a Friday and Saturday before the Wednesday he is scheduled to arrive in order to sleep for 3 nights before the surgery. Sleep, glorious sleep.
