Our fun-filled busy weekend with sweet friends

We had a great weekend this week. The girls had a birthday party to attend on Friday night for their sweet friend Ruby. Mark took them and they had a blast painting piggy banks. We have never done the pottery place before and I think they really had a blast especially being with special friends. We will definitely have to go back one day soon. When I got home from work on Saturday morning we headed off to a birthday party for their sweet friend Caitlyn at Pump-it-Up which is always fun. They had such a ball and didn't even require any help getting on the equipment. Mark went to help some friends move that morning and dropped us off at the party. Ella asked one time if I could help her on the slide and I explained to her that I was not allowed. She managed by herself with a little encouragement from big sister and did just fine. The girls got so sweaty and dirty. I was quite proud. I'm trying to get myself adjusted to dirt.
This picture of me is from Saturday morning - 36 weeks and 4 days. Wow!!! Now that's a belly. Funny how you can look in the mirror several times a day and think well, I'm not that big. Then you see a picture of yourself and wonder how in the world you could have missed that ginormous tummy sticking out that literally rounds the corner a good 3 seconds before you do. I just had to laugh at myself and thought you all could use a laugh on this Monday as well. Tomorrow I turn 37 weeks. That would be full term but considering he is a boy and likely very, very white he needs a couple more weeks to mature those lungs before I will feel comfortable with delivering. Part of me still wishes for my water to just break though. I'm not miserable by any means. I really feel great and have been enjoying the last few weeks of this pregnancy considering it may be my last (jury's still out on that one). I don't want to rush this special time, but I just can't wait to see his little face.
Happy Monday!!!
