Sunday night the 1st through 3rd graders sang in church. They were too adorable. They sang one song that had a "Land of 1000 Dances" feel to it. Na na na na Na na na na Na na na na na na na... Na na na na. You get the picture. It was hilarious with their hand motions and sounds that went along with it. One line said, "sock it to the devil, huh!" Annie later informed me that it was, "something to the devil, huh!" Funny. As a parent I never pictured myself giving a lesson as to what "sock it to ____" meant. She was absolutely certain that I was wrong.

After they sang we had The Lord's supper. How wonderful to be there for that since I am usually at work when our church has it. It was such a blessing to celebrate and remember the sacrifice Jesus Christ has made for us and how we would be lost without accepting the perfect gift of His salvation.
And now, thank the Lord, it's date night. I don't know what we are doing or where we are going and I don't care. I need a break today!
