And the winner is.....

Ella Rose Anderson.  This award is for the only child who unabashedly showed her true colors to the babysitter on Thursday night.  She must be getting used to Miss Elizabeth because she balked about picking up toys before bedtime and about going to bed as well.  She even ratted us out in the process by saying, (insert whiny voice) "but we never pick our toys up before going to bed.  We just leave them there."  Nice.  And, by the way, that is not always true.

A note about our Thursday date night.  It was such a sweet time.  To the untrained eye or the checker at all Cherokee county Targets and Chick-fil-as, we were just a childless couple doing some evening shopping and snacking but to us it was a chance to relax, regroup and enjoy each others company.  We did hit 2 Targets in search of a dress for me and 2 CFAs - one for a frosty beverage of course, and the other for a treat later on.  We even got in some banking at the ATM and a run in PetSmart for some dog food for a very naughty dog.  It reminded me of many "dates" we had during high school and college when we had spent all of our "other people's money" and had to find something to do 'cause goodness knows we couldn't stay home.  We would walk the malls or Walmart and laugh and talk about the future.  Instead of CFA it was What-a-burger where you could get Strawberry Fanta and fried lemon pies. Mmmmm.

Well, I'll hop off memory lane for now and get back to reality where there is plenty demanding my attention.

I will leave you with a few photos of the kids new Easter outfits  and one humdinger of a soccer picture from today for your viewing pleasure.

This is what she does when she isn't playing and if I were a bettin' person, I'd say she has her other thumb in her mouth.  Silly soccer girl.

What-a-burger! Yum! I introduced Marc to them in FL and now he seeks them out. Brings back memories.

Oh you brought back so many memories...yummy What-a-burger and B.C. (before children) days with Craig. We did the same as ya'll. Those were the days! Ella reminds me of Brendan-they are characters! Just gotta love 'em!
