This was me this fine Monday morning. Well, not really me. Add drool, messy hair, dark bags under the eyes and so forth and then you'd have a more accurate picture. Keep the smile though, for that was definitely there. A friend of ours has the sweetest little sister who came to our house this morning. She rode with me to take Annie to school so that I would stay awake. She was so funny and interesting that I had no trouble at all staying awake. We came back to the house and she took great care of Ella and Jack. I never heard a peep. Of course, I didn't even hear the phone ring and it was sitting next to my face. She even kept Jack awake since he was being pleasant so that after she left I got an extra hour of sleep after he went down for a nap. Heavenly!!! I know this won't be every Monday's story but I am oh, so glad for this Monday. Next Monday, Annie is out of school. Yay!! No driving!!
