Today we did some baking. We decided to bake cupcakes with pink "fairy" icing and sprinkles, of course. Annie thought this would be a great idea since she said she was planning me a surprise party tonight with "lots of junk food - just like you like Mom". (Wouldn't want to disappoint.) They both helped a lot with the baking and were so proud of themselves. For a treat they got to lick the beaters after we made the icing. Speaking of being proud....Annie finished her "Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons" book today. (What a great book!!! Thanks Melissa and Melody) She did such a good job and even did the last two lessons completely on her own. Ella took our picture together. She kind of takes after her Nanny in that area since the main focus is the window.
