As you can see, today we went to the zoo. The girls had a ball and the weather was great! For the first time ever, I think we saw every animal there. They were all out and awake roaming around in just the right places for us to see them. All but the pandas who were napping in anxious anticipation of the baby panda said to arrive any day now. How exciting! Annie and Ella also enjoyed the carousel and train while we were there. I have no funny antics or statements to report today but I do have a few sweet pictures. Well, there was a little incident with a goat named Gertie and Ella who was certain Gertie thought she was lunch. I think the goat may need therapy after the scene Ella made. We apologized to the goat and promptly left the pen.
Also, this week in Sparks, Annie learned these verses and had to say them to her teacher. What great verses to have in her little mind and a great way to build her firm foundation on Christ.
1 John 4:14 The Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world.
Psalm 147:5 Great is our Lord and mighty in power.
1 Corinthians 15:3 Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures.
She will be studying hard this week to learn 2 more verses for Sparks and the remainder of her school verse.
